I have been grateful for the nicer weather over the last few days. It’s impossible to harvest in a southerly, let alone forbidden. Ditto the rain. It’s about the well being of the plant, of course. So, because I’ve spent my summer idly*, instead of harvesting and prepping, I don’t have many strands of whenua, or muka to hand to make things.
